Extend the timeout or do away with it completely

Why should i have to keep wasting my time re-inputting my username and password every half an hour? Please don't tell me it is for my security - I am an adult.  If other people can't look after their computer security then that's their problem, but don't waste my time because you have some dumb users.

Hi Jeff,  I can understand your your frustration with this one.  However Xero is not JUST for small businesses. Having worked in offices, with very sensitive information on the computer and people coming in out of the office, I would hate to see this feature go.  Sadly I can say that in my time, I have seen people go to some pretty extraordinary measures to get their hands on sensitive information.

Maree, having at one time owned my own call centre and employed fifty people in it, I perfectly understand the issues about internal network security, and these are  internal issues for the company concerned.  What's Xero's view on this please?

Jeff, I agree. There should be an timeout option available. Either being able to extend the time or turn it off if needed.
