I have just stumbled upon a way of automatically entering recurring journals that I thought I would share with the group. I am sure the experts out there have already figured this out.

The way I achieved it was to enter a repeating payable invoice with the first line being the debit amount, and the second line as a negative amount for the credit. The invoice comes to zero (or should that read xero?) and you can either set it to create the draft invoices or auto approve.
