I have about 4 years' worth of data in a Xero organisation that ceased trading on 31st December. I clearly no longer need active use of the organisation, but would like to retain "read-only" access for a couple of years maybe.
Do I need to continue paying the normal monthly subscription? Is there a read-only option?

You can continue to pay a subscription if you like otherwise please get in touch with our Customer Care team (support@xero.com) as they can usually arrange for you to get access for reporting or retrieval purposes in future.

As for the data retrieval for a cancelled subscription - it really varies depending on the complexity and time it takes and level of access required - if you drop a note to billing@xero.com they can work through the options.
