Martin Gatehouse replied to randian's discussion How do I account for debt in Xero?
"Surely your repayments will be made from a bank account within Xero, and it will 'learn' the posting to the balance sheet loan account? = 1 'OK' click per month'...not too arduous! Regarding interest, just do one journal…"

Martin Gatehouse replied to Adrian Pearson's discussion New Xero pricing
"I agree woth both comments too. If someone is using Xero to raise 'sales invoices' (and thats all of my clients, certainly) then the cashbook and samm options are irrelevant. Even my 'retail' clients us the 'sales…"

Martin Gatehouse replied to gsgordon's discussion Flat Rate VAT in Xero?
"Interesting point about the COA design. Personally, I dont like imposing a COA structure on clients just so it speeds up production of a document needed once a year. Most of the time, a carefully designed COA that suits the clients business is the…"

Martin Gatehouse replied to gsgordon's discussion Flat Rate VAT in Xero?

Hi Martin, just connecting with other members here to see how we can communicate /collaborate and share knowledge about using Xero effectively.

Also looking to start a series of monthly (brainstorming) webinar style discussions about the latest business trends, updates, etc. related to Xero and other integrated apps. The theme for the webinar series is "Xero-ing on Small Business".

To date, I'm getting encouraging responses from some Xero users here. I've also contacted FreshBooks (since they are integrated with Xero) and they are interested in getting involved.

Is this something that may be of interest to you?

Regards,
Earl Rudolfo
