For me, there are are lot of unexplored areas in Xero which only surface when you are looking to do something new and different that usually requires a workaround. So I'm off to do some exploring. I feel somewhat like Sherlock Holmes looking for clues to solving a case. In fact, this may conjure up a good visual of what I'm trying to accomplish here.

So off I go. At this point, my travels have taken me into the Fixed Assets feature of the application. So here's my first observation. I noticed this, "To add web links type the URL including http:// " on the asset register form. This allows a direct link to a purchase record, visual display etc. Very interesting, I thought. So it got me thinking, why does Xero not open up this html feature to more areas. For example, it would be ideal to be able to create a link when entering a bill to link to a source document stored online. (See reference to document management)

Also, a while back I mentioned about creating a similar type of register to track Investments, namely, when bought, when sold, for how much and with interest calculations. So far, no response from Xero on this. So what do you say to these suggestions, Xero?
